Reptiles and Amphibians

Lizards, snakes and reptiles all live in discord in the tropical rain forests (Rainforest Animals, chart). With a variety of abilities each reptile has their own defense mechanism. Chameleons change color to be homogenous with their surroundings. Geckoes’ strength is stored in their legs to climb up and down on any surface. On a more morose note, anacondas can grow up to thirty feet long and squeeze their prey to death (Bergman, par. 1). Many species of frogs and salamander make up the amphibian population (Rainforest Animals, chart).
